Benevolence Ministry/Season of Giving
“But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need,and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in Him?" 1 John 3:17 Our vision at ICF is to minister the love of Jesus to those in our community who are struggling to feed their families and to the elderly who may be on a fixed budget. Our benevolence ministry has a small food pantry of non-perishable items to help those who are immediately in need.  "Season of Giving" distributes meals to the needy and to shelters in various communities during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. Since the first meeting of the early church detailed in the book of Acts, God has instructed believers to use the resources He has given them to help the needy.
